Transportation is essential to the successful operation of North Valley Services. Our transportation system is not only vital for the safe delivery of our consumers to and from their job sites and day programs, but more significantly, it is their means of integration into our community. Our service is guaranteed to be reliable, enjoyable, and timely, with safety as a number one priority. We will remain a safe, accountable, flexible and efficient operation through the implementation of planning, operating , and maintaining an essential transportation system.
North Valley Services will be receiving two new Buses through the Department of Transportation Section 5310 Grant Program in January 2013.
We provide Community Service for Red Bluff Kiwanis, Lariat Bowl, Lucero Olives, Red Bluff Round-Up Assoc. and Tehama County School Programs.
Areas Served: North Valley Services Transportation serves individuals residing in Glenn, Tehama, and Lassen Counties.
Maintenance: Our fleet is maintained monthly on a rotating preventable Maintenance Program. We Have yearly CHP inspections by the California Highway Patrol
Training: Drivers are kept current on Class B certification, CPR, First Aid, Consumer information and Fire Extinguisher training. They begin their day by conducting a pre-trip inspection of their vehicles.
Meetings are held each month where training videos, brochures, and information cover the following: Defensive driving techniques, Self-discipline & emotional control, Accidents and breakdowns, Road rage, Vehicle inspection, Sensitivity training, Injury and illness prevention, Speed and space management, Wheelchair operation.
