"Providing opportunities for persons with disabilities
in the environment of their choice."
(530) 527-0407

Orland is one busy place! Individuals access activities utilizing their choice as to what they would like to do and their goals.

Using customized support and supervision, personal growth and development is achieved with the assistance of the individual in developing plans to ensure the highest level of growth and satisfaction.

Internal as well as community opportunities have been developed to provide paid vocational activities. Landscaping and recycling are two of the most favored activities picked by individuals. The primary goal of this vocational training is to assist an individual to move on to competitive employment in the community.

A new fun as well as (for some) paid activity at the center is ceramics. Most individuals choose this as an arts and crafts activity. A few individuals have developed the skills to produce items that are sold to the public.

Daily access to the community provides plenty of opportunities for individuals to be part of the activities that take place in the surrounding city and county.
